You have a website and /or a blog and you need traffic,because without traffic,you have no leads and without leads you have no prospects and “no traffic=No sales,right?”

(note: I am referring to a domain name and a well designed website,not an affiliate link,but I will deal with that later.)

1) Search Engines:

SEO is an art in itself,but it must be learned,or pay someone who knows how  to do it for you,but if you were searching for information on a “Home Business”  you would use Google,MSN,Yahoo,or some other Search Engine,right?

There you have it,so realize that the majority of your “leads” are going to come from the Search Engines.”In fact,I talked about that once to a BIG Gun whose list building course I took and he told me that he mostly relied on the Search Engines and “word of mouth” and Advertising.

2)Advertising:

Advertising is done many different ways.Here are a few:

• Seo Companies – outsourcing the article writing,press releases,Search Engine,Directory,Ezine sites,Social Network Sites submissions.The whole 9 yards.
• Solo Ads
• Text Ad Exchanges
• Classifieds
• Backlinks
• Reciprocal Linking
• Search Engine Submissions
• FFA Sites  note: there’s a right and wrong way to do it.
• List Builder Emails
• Emails to your lists and downlines.
• Social Networking
• Forums
• Banner Ads
• Blogging
• Email – Personal contatc,not spamming.
• Article Writing.

These are just a few ways to generate traffic to your website.

You want to brand you,not your business,so even if you are using an affiliate link,it best to:

1) Have your own domain name and website,then represent those affiliate programs on it -and build your own list by the way,with an autoresponder.

2) At the very least,have a domain name and forward it to your affiliate link.A lot of the big guns do that.

There are ways in articles to hide the link.

“Build it and they will come” it was once said might be true in Egypt,but unfortunately it doesn’t apply to the internet!

You could have the best product to help people make money online since Rome was built,but if your website is not getting any traffic,aka ‘hits’ you are sunk!

“No Traffic=No Sales!”

Ok…so what might the problem be and what can you do?

1)A good keyword related domain name.

Discussing that is outside of the scope of this blog,so you’ll have to do a search for “keywords”, “search-engine” or”SEO” information,seek out a collegue,or “guru” that knows,or pay a company that specializes to “optimize” your website.

2)The above presupposes that your website is well designed,ie: excellent graphics,not too many,or too little,good menu system,loads fast,meta description,meta tags,keywords,etc and anything else the search engines might cough at are tuned for maximum!

3)This goes without saying: A product needed and wanted.ie: fills a need,solves a problem,etc.

Generally,search engines don’t like affiliate links,so your best bet is to get a domain name,even if just to redirect(some Traffic Exchanges will allow that and some won’t) the affiliate link,a cheap host and a basic website.In some cases,even a page on a free site with a few banners is better that nothing.The main point: Don’t do the same as everybody else and just put that Affiliate Program’s “link” out there.

This is why I think Worldprofit tops,because :
